The essence of Ribeiro: Complexity, elegance and Galician freshness.
Discover O Gran Mein Blanco 2022 , the prestigious "Village Wine" from the historic Viña Mein estate. This wine pays tribute to the rich traditions of the Avia Valley and brings together the diversity of small vineyards (minifundios) in a single glass. This is more than just a white wine; it's a masterful blend of local grape varieties that reflects the spirit of Galicia.
What makes this wine special?
The 2022 vintage boasts impressive balance. The wine is dominated by Treixadura grapes, complemented by a palette of indigenous varieties such as Godello, Loureira, Torrontés, Albariño, and Lado. Aging takes place partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in large oak barrels and concrete eggs, resulting in a wine with beautiful texture without the oak dominating.
Tasting note
In the glass: Clear golden yellow with a green tinge.
On the nose: An aromatic spectacle of white fruit (pear, apple), citrus blossom and subtle spicy notes (fennel, laurel), underlined by a salty, mineral undertone typical of the granite soils.
On the palate: Very elegant and silky smooth. The wine has a fine tension, lively acidity, and a long, almost creamy finish with a salty finish that invites you for the next sip.
